Children Visiting Pet Shop

Monday 24th November 2014

Under 2 years Outings to the Pet shop

The children at Acol Nursery are learning about animals and the sounds that they make. Our Early Years Educators took the children on a trip to their local pet shop to find out more about their favorite animals and reptiles.

There were snakes, rabbits, fish and lots of different types of birds.

Our children are also very lucky to have their own pets at nursery. We have Tilly and Willis our dwarf lop bunnies, two African snails and a very special squirrel who comes to visits us every day.

Montpelier Movement Workshop

July 10th 2014

We all had a fantastic time with Sophie (Minnie’s mum) when she came to do a music and movement session with us. The session involved the children having fun, being energetic, imaginative and communicating through their movements. All this learning was based on a story about a girl visiting the dinosaur museum.
The children loved being scary dinosaurs.

Nearly New Sale

Saturday 17th May – 10am-12pm, Sington Nursery, Broomsleigh Street, NW6.

Tables will be £15 and anything that’s in ‘nearly new’ condition can be sold. Ideally we’re looking at toys, books, clothes and equipment for children from birth-5 years. It’s a great way to sell items that your children have grown out of and pick up great quality items at a fraction of the cost too.

If you’d like a table please email to reserve your place. If you only have a few items to sell, why not team up with another parent and share a table. If you would like to share a table, let me know and I can team you up with another parent wanting to do the same. It’s a great way of getting money back for the items that your kids have grown out of. Sometimes things are ‘too good’ to give away so this is a perfect solution!

If you’d be happy to help promote this event either by telling other parents or distributing leaflets/posters in the community please get in touch too

If this event is a success we’ll be looking to run Nearly New Sales more frequently. Please get involved in anyway you can
